It is not possible to add a badge to your existing ads at the moment, but it’s coming soon. 
We have also added a Bold title option. For €1, your ad will stand out from other listings in the search results.

We’ve changed our pricing structure when placing an ad for a car.
There has been a sharp increase in the number of car dealers advertising as private users on the site and we have been asked to take action to keep private users and car dealers separate.
We believe that private users will only place a car ad very seldomly in comparison to car dealers. For that reason, we have decided to change our fees to place a car ad so that all car ads are now paid for.
Here are our new car fees:
*All car ads allow users to enter their phone numbers.
A priority car ad stays on top of the listings for 4 days. A premium car ad stays on top of the listings for 7 days and displays a premium badge.

Our Books and Magazines section is full of great reads and bargains, but it was starting to look more like a flea market, so we put a little bit of order into it!
We added a Food and Drink category where you can browse mouth-watering recipe books by the likes of Jamie Oliver ,Rachel Allen and others.

Our new categories also include DIY and Gardening , Art, architecture and Photography and Audiobooks.

Until now, searching for ads was limited to counties and areas, but we are happy to announce that from today, you can search by province too!

Many of you have expressed the need to search by province. You have also requested multiple locations search. This new feature will be added in the coming weeks.

We’ve added a new page to our ad placement process detailing exactly what you get when posting a Free, Priority or Premium ad.

We have also added a new feature when placing a premium ad or when bumping your ad to premium status.
Your ad will now display a Premium badge 
for a period of 30 days.
Here is how it looks like:
Premium ads have shown to sell in average 4 times faster than basic ads. This is because your ad stays on top of the listings in your chosen category for 48 hrs and therefore attracts more views that any other ads.
It’s easy to buy credits on Adverts.ie. You can either use your phone or Paypal.

An update for our Adverts iPhone App is out today – Just in time for Christmas!
Here are the changes you can expect to find:
* We added infinite scrolling to search results and comment views
*A free text search is now available directly in the search result page
*Previous free text searches are saved locally for convenience
We also fixed some issues which were causing the App to crash and made some aesthetic changes.
